The main aim of the project is to develop an innovative service for surveying and assessment of the health condition of trees using advanced technological apparatus and a specialised software (platform). This includes a database, a web and a mobile application, through which the effectiveness and the preciseness of the health condition assessment of trees can be improved.
The innovative approach is expressed through a combination of using advanced technological equipment, scientific achievements for surveying and assessment of the health condition of trees, and a modern software solution, which enables the automatization of the assessment, as well as presentation of the data of the surveyed trees in a single system.
By aiming to automate the process of health condition assessment of trees, reference values of the indicators will most likely be determined for the 20 most common tree species in Bulgaria, which are measured via advanced technological equipment. Determining the reference values for each tree species requires scientific work and a statistical analysis of the acquired results. Members of the firm will be engaged with the statistical analysis, as well as consultants with an in-depth knowledge on phytopathological assessments of trees.
