Training on the Storage of Chemical Substances and Mixtures

Fortis Visio will hold two training courses on “Requirements for the storage of chemical substances and mixtures” – on 2 February in Varna and on 9 February in Sofia. The aim of the training is to familiarise participants with the new and existing legal requirements and the resulting obligations related to the safe storage of chemical substances and mixtures, and to provide practical guidance on applying the legislation in their day-to-day work. We will present and explain the specifics of the current legal framework governing the storage of chemical substances and mixtures; the practical application of the information contained in safety data sheets; the requirements for storage warehouses; the preparation of a safety assessment for the storage of chemical substances and mixtures; the preparation of a report on the classification of the establishment/installation, etc. We will give examples from our practice and analyse real situations. You will have the opportunity to ask questions and share cases you find difficult to resolve. The training is suitable for:

• Persons responsible for the safe storage of chemical substances and mixtures;
• Persons authorised to access warehouses containing chemical substances and mixtures;
• Persons working with chemical substances and mixtures;
• Persons under Article 4, item 10 of the Ordinance on the procedure and manner of storage of hazardous chemical substances and mixtures;
• Persons under Article 13, item 3 of Ordinance No. 13 on the protection of workers against risks related to exposure to chemical agents at work.
