Training: "Integrated permits – issuance, review, amendment, updating, implementation and control"

Eco Solutions and**Fortis Visio,** in partnership with ASUOS, are organising a training to explain the legal framework related to integrated permits and the field of integrated pollution prevention and control. The aim of the training is to familiarise participants with the applicable regulatory requirements and the resulting obligations related to the issuance, review, amendment, updating, implementation and control of integrated permits, so that they acquire the necessary competence and skills to apply the legislation, the approved methodologies and guidance, and consequently to fulfil their obligations in this area. The training will be held on 09.04.2019 in Sofia. Duration: from 10:00 to 16:00. The training covers the application of the following legal acts:

  • – Environmental Protection Act:
  • – Ordinance on the conditions and procedure for issuing integrated permits;
  • – Directive 2010/75/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 24 November 2010 on industrial emissions;
  • – Regulation (EC) No 166/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council concerning the establishment of a European Pollutant Release and Transfer Register.

The training will be held with a small group of participants and will include a theoretical lecture supported by practical examples and discussion. It is suitable for operators holding integrated permits, as well as those intending to apply for the issuance or updating of integrated permits.

Lecturers from the Executive Environment Agency (ExEA), from the departments****Prevention of Major Accidents and Industrial Pollution (PMAIP) and Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control (IPPC).
