Careers at Fortis Visio - Environmental Consultant

Fortis Visio is a company providing consultancy services in the field of environmental management. In connection with our new projects, we are looking for a colleague for the position of Environmental Consultant. The main duties of the intern are:

• Participating in environmental protection and management projects, including analyses and studies in the field of habitat and species conservation;
• Participating in the organisation and delivery of events and trainings
• Preparing presentations;
• Preparing articles and news for the website and social media;
• Communicating with institutions, local authorities and local communities;
• Preparing project reports;
• Preparing project proposals and offers;
• Communicating with current and potential clients and partners;
• Working in cooperation with the other team members and other experts.

Our minimum requirements for applicants are:

• University degree;
• Expert knowledge of the environmental components, incl. biological diversity;
• Working proficiency in English – written and spoken;
• Work experience – at least 1 year;
• Skills in using software for entering, processing and formatting texts, tables and maps.

Preference will be given to applicants who have:

• A university degree in Ecology and Environmental Protection, Biology, Geography or other related fields in Biological Sciences or Earth Sciences;
• Professional experience in the field of the environment and conservation biology;
• Experience in work related to habitat and species conservation;
• Skills and experience in organising and delivering trainings and events.
