Mapping and monitoring of the biodiversity in the ареа of „Tran“ metal ores deposit

The conducted study includes monitoring of biodiversity in the Tran deposit, as well as the territories adjacent to the deposit within one calendar year. Target species subject to monitoring are: birds, bats and some large mammals (lynx, bear, wolf).

Field surveys have been carried out within the project concession area on the basis of which an assessment of the possible impacts of the Tran deposit development and operation was made. The results of the studies were presented in expert reports for each target species group and a summary report.

Over 10 experts – ornithologists, large mammals and bats experts – took part in the project.
